From a long time I was thinking to post my second blog here. I was searching the subject. My search came to an end today when I saw the GOD himself playing the game called cricket. I could not witness the master scoring his 46th hundred in the shorter version of the game. But I admit that I was lucky enough to witness him scoring first ever double hundred in the history of the game. He was amazing. I'm running out of words. And I am quite sure that the same is the case with all of us.
His innings today was an example. And an answer to those who say that there is not much cricket left in him. I can say that he is better than anyone on this planet in this game. At 36 he plays better than any younger player in the side. He has still the same craze to score that was 20 years back. His hunger to get runs is still the same. He is still a 36 year young Indian cricketer. And those who were suggesting his retirement should think over their idea once more. And they must know that the right to think over this issue is reserved only to Tendulkar. And I’m sure he has a lot of cricket left in him.
Not only in one day internationals but in test matches also his recent record is outstanding. Scoring back to back centuries in four consecutive matches is not a child’s play.
24th February 2010 will be remembered in the cricketing history.
Without any doubt, “India is a country where cricket is a religion and Sachin Tendulkar is GOD”.
